- Register for the certification test.
- Take and pass the certification test.
Helpful Advice for Passing the Test
- Create a schedule: The two course books contain over 700 pages in total. Expect to spend about 50–70 hours preparing after completing the training courses. Create a schedule with weekly deadlines.
- Safety in numbers: If possible, set up a study group.
- Know the test objectives: Copy the objectives to a spreadsheet and mark them off as you review them in the material and perform the skill in the ADE.
- Be systematic: Review the lesson, do the exercise, review the relevant developer documentation.
- Make summary notes: Summarise how to customize each type of artifact, key UIM elements, and the purpose of each configuration file.
- Get hands-on practice: Practice in the sandbox image for CUR073/CUR074, also available via CUR077 – Merative Cúram SPM Development Environment 7.X: Sandbox.
- Challenge your understanding: Use the Developer Certification Preparation – Mini Project:
- Are you ready? Sample test questions: Sample_Dev_Test_Questions.pdf. Take the Practice Test (P001) in Prometric about a week before the actual test.
- When taking the test: Read all information on screen. Do a first pass on easier questions. Simplify multiple-answer questions by treating each option as true/false.
